The project seeks to establish a modern gay bathhouse adapting a new form of modular architectural components. Started with creating a project specific version of Le Corbusier’s maison dom-ino using scouring pads, accentuated by vibrant yellow pins and 3D-printed modular columns, this design introduces a woobly and rough space. Utilizing these modules to expand both spatial and ground treatment, the project reclaims underground space in the heart of Hollywood, making it into an explorative and vibrant hub for pleasure-seeking experiences.
